Paisajes

The landscapes I paint are not taken from reality but from dim and maybe distant memories of places I have once been to, of skies and atmospheres I gazed at sometime during my life that, for some reason, got fixed in my mind.

In his book "L'art magique", André Bretón states:

The physical eye, which owes everything to its perception of reality, stands in contrast to the spirit’s eye, which acts by itself.
